Frequently Asked Questions

  1. What is Fitness Coaching?

Fitness Coaching is small group coaching from a certified fitness expert. The trainer teaches and motivates you to reach your weight, health, exercise, or athletic goals. This is accomplished while following a detailed fitness and nutritional plan. The trainer develops your fitness plan for you based on your goals.

Personal training is the most effective method of achieving your health, fitness, and/or weight loss goals. Amateur and pro athletes have long used personal trainers to increase their performance in competition. To look their best on the red carpet, movie stars are known to hire personal trainers. The trainer will motivate you and get you to push pass your threshold into a whole new mindset of exercising– taking you to limits that you never would have reached on your own.

  2. How will I Benefit from working with a personal trainer and/or Fitness Coach?

You will benefit in a variety of ways. Here are a few:

Weight loss, fat loss, toned muscles, increased strength, improved athletic performance, exercise dedication, workout consistency, reduced risk of injury, increased metabolism, improved flexibility, elimination of aches and pains. You will also become better educated in exercising properly, and learn to measure and track your progress.

  3. How often should I meet with a personal trainer and/ or Fitness Coach?

The answer to this questions depends upon your goals and how quickly you want to achieve them, your schedule and the time you devote to exercise , and your budget. When considering the cost, be sure to remember that this is your health and there is nothing on earth that is more important…because without it you have nothing.

Most clients do best when they meet with a Fitness Coach 2-3 times per week …less than that many people will slack off and not get nearly as much out of it. Most clients start out meeting their trainer 3 times per week and then will gradually decrease the frequency as they progress, learn, and feel more comfortable and confident on their own.

  4. What kind of results can I expect?

It HONESTLY depends primarily on how bad you want to achieve your goals and how hard you are willing to work. There are many variables including your specific starting point, genetics, and metabolism as well as your consistency, commitment and time you are willing to put into training. You will get results based on what you put into your training and nutrition.
